NewsFebruary 10 Has it really been so long since I updated the Website! Sorry folks. The Lace Fairs have started in earnest this year it was great to see you all at Tauton our new Honiton earrings earned lots of admiring glances, and for those who have been put off by wires we now can supply earring on silver studs. As requested by Claire my Welsh Cake recipe is now available on my free picking page. December 09 Our new Denise Bobbin designed by a customer has proved very popular at the Christmas shows. March 09 We were given a last minute chance to show at Harrogate Lace Fair. It was great to meet lots of new faces and some old ones from previous shows. It all went very well considering how unprepared we both were! Feb 09 First Lace fair of the year and time to expand the bobbins we have on offer! The website is updated with our latest range. Jan 09 Happy new year!! Unfortunately the cooling tower for the furnace has been damaged in the cold weather Ian has decided to repair the problem with old radiators just got to get our hands on the radiators! Dec 08 A successful bobbin selling season, we have started selling our bobbins on ebay to bring them to a wider audience. Ian has started offering Engineering services. Nov 08 Our range of bobbins has been increase with greater reproducibility so pairs of matching bobbins are now available. We have also induced a range of earring, pendants and keyrings Sep 08 Anodizing has been achieved and you should see the range of colours! We are investigating other dyes for an even greater range! Aug 08 Ian has fired up the Induction furnace and we are now taking orders for casting!! June 08 Again our bobbins have been warmly welcomed by lace makers! We had a successful show at the Devon Lace Teachers fair. Thank you to all you whom filled in our questionnaire, will are currently designing new bobbins based on your ideas. May 08 A successful Lace fair at Chepstow on Saturday 17th May we were welcomed by other stall holders and visitors alike. We are now working towards a greater range of stock for the Devon Lace Teachers fair. April 08 Ian has acquired the Induction furnace slightly bigger than he planned and the accompanying generator Jan 08 An induction furnace is now planned, and accompanying generator to power it! The purchase of the shaping machine see photo's in construction of steam. More casting some successful some not so successful! |
